Teaching can be such a pain.

Yesterday the assistant tkd coach did not come. So the coach split all the belts up and got seniors to teach them. I was in charge of the brown2 and brown1. They are such a pain, not willing to listen, impatient to move on to the next pattern although they have not mastered the current one being taught yet. My salute to all the teachers and coaches out there.

Now I've started reading New Moon, the second book in the series.

There are parts I truly enjoy and parts at which I wonder why I am reading the book.

The end of Heroes

Just finished watching the last episode of Heroes Volume 3: Villains. I have to say, it was a HUGE disappointment.
When the promo videos and trailers of volume 3 came out, fans everywhere got hyped up. Even the name of the volume was enough to get us excited; Villains. Fans every where were discussing the possibility of showdowns between two clear teams of villains and heroes. Possibilities of current heroes becoming bad. Of villains becoming good.

When in the middle of the series, when Sylar was portrayed as Peter's brother and joined the good guys, it got even more exciting.

But I have to say, the volume finale was SUCH a disappointment! Most of the best villains are dead, most dying before Sylar or Peter absorbed the powers.
Even Sylar is portrayed as dead, but i doubt it. I bet Peter's mother saved him.
And we find out the villain of next season would be Nathan.

The only good things about it was that Mohinder is normal again but retained his powers and that Peter has his powers again.

Sorry, very emo right now. Stupid heroes. Season one was SO mind blowing that all fans are addicted. We just can't quit watching. Hoping for heroes to get back on track like season one. Waiting. Perhaps in vain...

I'm back!

OKay first major announcement- My younger brother Ankit has his own blog! I'm like omg! He had asked me to help him create it the other day. Go and check it out; HERE!

I'm blogging after so long, had restrictions on using the computer haha. But now I'm back! Just woke up awhile back and showered and everything. I've caught a cold, I think because of all the dust from tidying up the computer table and a bit of my room yesterday.

ARRGH Tkd grading is like on the first saturday of 2009. I'm freaking out, but at the same time excited about it, especially looking forward to my new uniform!

Its the the middle, or the second half of the holidays already. I havent done any homework or revision yet. Think I'll start from Monday, seeing that there is tkd bbq tommorrow. I wonder how the bbq qould be like, seeing that a lot of small kids might turn up.

Thinking of getting a pet goldfish. Still thinking.

I realized that all my profiles on socializing networks are dead. Friendster, Orkut, Hi5, Tagged and Facebook(other than the fact that I play PetSociety on it).

Man I wanted to complete my C++ program today, the one that's holiday homework, but my C++ isn't working so I'll have to reinstall it.

Today had sailing session. At first the wind was really good an we were sailing with speed but then it started raining and the wind died. I'm telling you, it does not feel good to be a lone sailor out at sea with the cold raining pouring at you can you can't see a few meters around you. While out there I had time to think. About important things that matter. Like what to eat for lunch later.

Later the rain died down a little and felt really good. But there was still no wind and so I just went to the front of my boat, lied down in the middle and waiting for the waves to bring me to shore, since there was still lightning risk. Thankfully the my sail caught some wind and I rode it all the way back to shore.

I SWEAR there was this swordfish, no less than a meter or a meter and a half long that was near the surface of the water, then splashed on the water once, jumped into my boat then jumped out to the other side. I was just shocked.

I want to play DotA but all my "clan mates" are all not available :(

I managed to fix the problem with my Windows Explorer. Apparently, One of my folder had some problem. I couldn't delete it since I couldn't even click on it. Finally I managed to delete it using Command Prompt.

Still waiting for Heroes....Guess I'll go sleep first....Can't wait for Sailing tmr...

Ok I'm back from OBS. OBS was GREAT FUN! Trekking, High Rope Elements and Kayaking Expedition. The best has to be doing the high ropes while tied to another guy, cause it made it more fun. I got to catch up with a few OCIP mates who were in my group too. The mosquito bites are killing me NOW! They have been extremely itchy since yesterday. Maybe there are more mosquitoes in my house now.

Yesterday I had went Sailing! Was quite tiring as the wind condition was very light and I have no sense of wind direction. The whole trip was made totally worthwhile when heading back to shore; a sudden gust of wind caught me and my boat went perpendicular to the water! I seriously thought for a moment that I was about to capsize. Then I found myself "standing on the water". I managed to pull/push the boat back to normal.

My PetSociety Pet, MonMon, is now super rich and awaiting the Xmas specials to go on sale!

Purple Line

Its 1.47am in the morning. Just finished packing and showering. Would be going off to OBS soon, without any form of technology. I'm feeling very tired, better get some rest.

Friday night I had went over to my cousin's place. Ashnee's family and another family had gone too. For Diwali visiting Ashnee was not there but Beena and Poonam were. We played cards. 4 cards, Tie TI (I don't know how to spell it but I know how to play it) and Heart Attack. It was really fun and we played till very late. Then our parents began to drink tea at about 12am. We reached home at 1am.

Saturday night Ashnee's family came over to my house. This time my siblings, Poonam, Beena and I played cards like crazy. First we were playing 4 cards, ans then we moved on to heart attack. We were literally wrestling each other. Beena and Poonam did not want to put their hands on the top of the pile and so they used their long finger nails to try to get below while me and my elder brother used our strength to fight to stray below. Once i a while my sister would pinch people for no apparent reason.

This weekend I managed to go out with Mano a bit. Played a tiny winy bit of Dota as well.

Sadly I would have to wait till Friday to watch Heroes. SouthPark as well. I am blogging after so long. Didn't really have the mood or I was distracted before. Like the PetSociety on facebook had totally had me hooked. Thank God I have managed to get off it. Managed to fight the addiction for Dota (since the urge to play it is under control) and now PetSociety too.

This post is in purple because I think I finally got the meaning behind the "Purple Line". Even I have not got the meaning then it still makes sense to me.

Today we had a really long break. We had 2 hours classes and after that was like 5 hour break before our Conversational Mandarin class, which I found out later that I did not even have to attend.

First we went to MacDonald for lunch. Then Muthu and I played Dota in school. After that we played cards. Wanted to play basketball but it was SO WARM! And finally, I went for class.

Today was OP. I went to school at 8 to be the audience for JiaKiang's group. One of the teacher's phone started vibrating halfway during the speech by the first speaker. I was like - wth?! And during the last speaker's speech, it went off again! It was quite loud. She didn't even do anything about it after the first time it went off!

I was extremely nervous, thank God for some reason that I don't remember, we laughed a lot before the presentation, which calmed my nerves A LITTLE. My speech was almost fully memorized so I did not look at the cue cards and I forgot to flip the cue cards as I wen along. And suddenly I reached a part where I could not remember the words so I started flipping my cards, which took maybe 3 seconds most, but seemed like eternity to me. And I skipped one paragraph accidentally. I read the first few words and then read the last few words of the paragraph. The sentence made sense, and the paragraph did not contain any points on the slide, so I decided not to correct my mistake. The length of my speech was OK, 4.26 minutes.

During the Q&A I was asked - "How would you convince teenagers to stop eating fast food?"
I was so stunned that I took about 5 to 10 seconds to get started. Halfway through my mind went blank and I tired to remember the question. I then gave another point and said that's all.

This is why we were laughing before the presentation.

The modderator asked me: "Where would you be presenting?"
Me: "At the front."
The modderator appeared to be thinking for a few seconds and then said: "Of course the front."

used to live through every week, looking forward to Tuesdays. You'll probably know why. Heroes comes out every Tuesday. But this Tuesday, it not airing. I don't know why, but its probably because of the presidential elections in US. Sighs.

Tomorrow is Oral Presentation for Project Work. It is the last stage of the PW process. My speech is mostly ready. Would practice answering from questions that I might be asked tomorrow in the Q&A section. I don't know if I'm feeling more scared or excited. Woot!

Today 2 of my sister's friends came over and we played cards. I miss playing cards. Whatever happens, I must have an overnight card playing session this holidays!

Yesterday almost my whole class went to one of my classmate's house to practice for tomorrow. We were practicing at first, then we had a dry run and then we started getting distracted. Some of them watched TV or played PS2 while some others, including me, played Bomberman with each other. We ordered pizza for lunch and then played cards. Then some of the boys, including me, took turns to play Dota.

Wow it has been such a long time ever since I blogged. I have been procrastinating it for way too long. I guess that in the last couple of days, whenever I logged on, the only thing that was visible to me was Dota. It can be a really addictive game at times.

Today I went to watch the Hindi movie "Heroes". I thought it was a war film but turns out it is more of a patriotic film. I was REALLY boring and by the middle of the movie I was wondering when it was going to end. There was a lot of over acting, by Bobby Deol, which at times made it seem like a tamil movie. I don't know why they even show patriotic movies overseas. I mean like are they trying to get NRIs to go back? Never Returning Indians. Its all in the name.

My brother, Mano and I went to play pool on his birthday. It was pretty fun although I didn't really concentrate on playing. Pool takes way too much concentration. While having dinner we saw a poster for a band called ASH. Here are two pictures. Wanted to upload my own self playing too but the picture is with my brother and the process is too tiring. Basically I'm just feeling lazy.

Ashnee went India for his holiday. My brother and I went to send him off. I really miss him now, we used to do so much stuff together, especially during the holidays. No one to go inline skating with anymore. Taekwando is also so boring without him. I have stopped going for the Saturday classes since it is so far and I don't want to go alone. Can't wait for him to get back. But sadly when he gets back, school would begin.

The other day I went shopping with my younger brother and parents and later my whole family went out for dinner. It was rather hilarious that my younger brother ordered a lot of food but didn't eat much. Here are two pictures:

Wow.
I played Dota just now. 3 straight matches. I won all 3. The frist two were against Ashnee, whom I won easily, but the last match was a 2v2 with classmates. MingSeng was on my team and we were against ChengHong and Ibrahim.
The whole game lasted 1 hour 16minutes. It ended at 12 on the dot, the time after which I am not allowed to game. I took screenshots, but its in tga format and I am lazy to convert it, its so troublesome.
Anyways thanks MingSheng for guiding me and thanks guys for the most fun match that was so hard.

When we were younger, Mano and I used to play Runescape together while talking on the phone. We used to do quests together, guide each other, train together and go to the wilderness together. Those used to be the times.

Now Mano and I play Dota together while having a conversation on Skype. We tag team against enemy heroes, inform each other about happenings on the map, alert each other on enemy positions or possible attacks against us and plan strategies together. Probably in the future I'll look back and say 'Those used to be the times.'

So the best remedy is to enjoy everything you do. Think fully of what you are doing right now and of nothing else. Since you are reading my blog think only of what I'm trying to say and how I'm feeling and not of when you are next going to meet me(just kidding).

Think not of the past and future. Concentrate on making a better past for tomorrow and fulfilling yesterday's future.

My last paper was yesterday, H1 History.The paper went relatively well. Actually Computing and History were the only papers that went relatively well. Maths was bad and Physics, well a disaster.
Tsk tsk, I'm a computing student but am down with IT problems right now. I failed to set up my wireless network and now my external hard drive is giving me problems. I am unable to access it. That's really bad because I am unable to play Dota, which I was really looking forward to.
Heroes episode 5 came out yesterday and it was better than last week's. Can't wait for next week's episode.
Guess I'll go watch SouthPark now. Speaking of which, the latest episode, 'Breast Cancer Show Ever', should be coming out later today. The previous episode 'The China Problem' wasn't really as funny as I expected it to be.
My friends went Seoul Garden for lunch yesterday, I was suppose to go with them but remembered in the 11th hour (coincidentally it was 11am) that yesterday was Tuesday. So I had to change my plans as I'm vegetarian on Tuesdays.

Yesterday's Taekwando class sucked. The Sir had asked me to go through the patterns with the brown belts . The stupid kids were not listening half the time, two of them were showing attitude and all were so impatient that they wanted to learn the next pattern without mastering the first few. I guess during the holidays I'll have to read up on teaching.

So anyways Dutch Lady Strawberry milk was found to contain (too much?) melamine. How come it took a scandal to draw Singapore HSA's(or is AVA responsible for the testing? I dunno) attention.
I mean I used to drink that milk 5 to 7 times a day in school and also a lot at home. And my friend was complaining that he ate M&Ms the other day. What is that compared to my case=.="
I couldn't even find a picture of the milk to upload...thats why i dedicated this post to be pink instead...

Sighs....my NYAA is still empty....

Hindi school was bullcrap today.

Firstly our teacher didn't come. And she didn't even bother informing us. I like did my freaking homework for the first time this year!!!!

since sec 3 students had their end of year exam yesterday, they did not have classes today. So only sec 4 and JC students were their. A handful of people for each level. So we made up a total of two classes. Did not really study.

During recess, the volunteer, called L to protect his identity, had some problem with Rohit. We were like just seated there, chatting. Rohit was laughing as he usually does, being he jolly person that he is. The L sudently asked him if he needed water. Rohit replied that he did not. Then the L said that Rohit was choking (like WTH?). Rohit said he was not choking and then the L called Rohit mad.

I sensed L was angry with us and would try to misuse his authoriry. So i quickly went to buy my drink before L had any reason to stop me. As i assumed, a few minutes later, he stopped Rohit from buying tibbits by caliming that it was time to be back in class. But I checked my watch and we still had 2 minutes left.

After that, Kushan was listening to music on my psp when L walked past. He came in and took my psp and asked Kushan to get out of the class. The DM told Kushan to concentrate and that she would return the psp at the end of the day but L insisted that Kushan's parents were called.

L left the school before we were dismissed.

Today Shannon shot his white creamy stuff at Yeo Keng. Yeo Keng screamed. Ended up on Yeo Keng's bag. Shannon apologized for loosing control. They cleaned up the mess together.

Pretty tired today. Feel like sleeping. Drifting off to dreamland, where anything is possible...

Had a really weird dream yesterday. Like I was Aladdin escaped from somewhere on my magic carpet.

Today had sailing physical. Ran 2km, did 2 sets of 5BX and went to the gym.
Tomorrow there is sailing again. Would have gym and then swimming.

On Monday was the General Paper for the promotional examination. I was doing my paper in the hall, and there was a female teacher who was wearing heels. The heels on the wooden boards were making a lot of noise, and that was rather distracting, especially at the start of the 2 papers. In paper one, students need to brainstorm at the beginning of the paper and in paper two, we need to concentrate on reading the passage(s). It broke my chain of thoughts more than once.

I think teachers should not wear any foot wear that makes too much sound (like heels), especially on days they are invigilating in the hall.

Today GP paper ended. For paper one I wrote an essay on "Is the government largely responsible for protecting the environment? ". Paper two was on computers. Being a computing student, I felt like disagreeing on certain "facts" mentioned in the passage.

I got 46/100 for my Hindi prelims. Guess at least its an improvement ya.
I'll work work harder.

Today I was like super stressed. I was under more stress than the entire August's stress put together. All because of WR submission. There nothing else on my mind the whole day, not even after I finally submitted. I don't want to talk much about it, I only want to thank HUSNEIN and HTET MON for all their help in resolving today's crisis. Thanks a lot!!!!:D

I was thinking that I would go home and destress by going swimming or watching a movie ( in the cinema) but then I remembered that there is Hindi Prelims tomorrow and there is GP promo on Monday. So I settled for a nap and a little "tv" instead.

Going to go study a little for my hindi paper tomorow. Hopefully I can get a sub-pass in that yeah....

Okay msn sever is down I think. I couldn't sign in. And then my friends reported the same problem. I can't help but feel a sense of disconnection from the world. Thank God at least the WorldWideWeb isn't down.

So now the only way to contact our friends online are through blogs, friendster, email etc.

Now I realize how much we rely on MSN. Its like our main source of communication. Like an email has so much more value no?

Maybe we should have a backup messenger service? Yahoo, Gchat, Skype or perhaps even ICR?

Okay today was extremely funny.

I woke up late. Was outside the college at about 7.50pm. They were still assembled in the parade square, so I went to buy a packet of chocolate milk to drink. Then when I went to the college. All the late comers were assembled at the basket ball court. I was wondering if I should just sneak into the school without going there but I had already told my civil tutor that I was late. So I went there. Quite a few of my friends were late. Okay, so here's the funny part. I asked one of them why he was late. He was late because, when getting of the train at Yishun, someone pushed him back inside. So he had to take it all the way to Sembawan and back. He was mopped back into the train by the inconsiderate crowd but the way he phrased it was so funny.

Slept from 7 to 10pm. Having some problems with my MSN right now :@

Today was hilarious. I went to AMK for Project Work meeting. We held the meeting in MacDonald's. Our project is on preventing the negative impact on teenagers' health due to fast food. I only had a Sundae there.

Many questions have been running through my mind lately. Damn the phrase "the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer", it got mind racing. Taking about racing, the route for the F1 race was just being shown on the news (not to be mistaken for The Noose).

Can't wait for Heroes Season 3 to be aired. HEROES ROCKS!!!

There was hindi school today too. I had forgotten to do the homework. Teacher asked me to hand it to her next week. As Asha reminded me, only 7 more days of hindi school. Should I be feeling sad?

I am so excited! First of all, I received the form for my "final" grading. Which would be on the first Sunday of October. The sir had that it would be a good present for myself if I pass. Secondly, my TKD sir has asked be to be his self defense partner for HIS grading! That is like so cool, I would get to experience how a high level grading feels like. Perhaps he would allow me to wear some other uniform for the occasion? :P

My flu has recovered alomost fully. Flem left. Thanks people, for wishing me!

Today was the CIP. Health screening at Pippit Road. Full day. We covered 22 units, however only around 4 units did both the survey and health screening. The first unit was a Panjabi couple, and I asked the lady the survey questions in hindi :p

What can I say? I'm down with bad flu. My throat hurts. My nose is red and hurts, a lot!
Its weird, I had it since yesterday, it was gone suddently today in school and came back at kuch for a little while and then ame back, full blast, after I awkoe from my afternoon nap.

I went to school yesterday by 8.25am. We were suppose to have consultation with Miss.Mok, our GP teacher, at 8.30am. We sat there, waiting, and at 8.40am we get a sms from her, that said she could not make it due to "something came up at home". Hmm. ~~We felt that she just overslept, as the sms came quite late?~~ I saw her in school later, she saw smiling and having consultation with other groups.

Oringinal Season 2 ending

In the original scripts for Season 2 the vial had hit the floor and smashed. The rest of the season had the heroes dealing with the outbreak and trying to find a cure for the virus while their parents tried to stop their secrets coming out, with occasionally lethal results. The town of Odessa gets quarantined, a government official (the same man who showed Peter around in the future) shows up to contain the disease, Nathan falls ill with the virus, Mohinder is called in as the only man to have ever cured it, Claire breaks into the quarantine area to help cure the virus, Mohinder creates a vaccine from Claire's blood that successfully cures the virus but this is stolen, the man charged with containing the disease really works with the surviving members of the heroes parents and is under orders to let the town die to contain the secret hence him stealing the cure. Finally Maya, who had learned to control her abilities in that time, arrives and uses her abilities to draw the virus into herself, curing everyone and sacrificing herself in the process.

Woot just reached home a while ago. Went to Seoul Gardens for dinner with Ibrahim, Kushank, Nisha, Hussnien and his girlfriend. Went there after Hindi school so Kushank and I went together. I forgot to bring jeans along to change into so I was in the hindi school pants all the time(which is really YJC pants, not that it makes it any better). We met at 7.15pm but had to wait till about 7.55 for a table. Was really funny, Nisha took too much food so she tried hiding it haha. It was Hussnien's birthday, and his girlfriens's birthday was yesterday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THEM.

Ibrahim had came late and he had a really funny reason why he was late. He missed his first train, the second train terminated at Yishun(from where he was boarding), the third train terminated at Bishan and then he missed his stop. LOL!

I got back my mock test results. 35/100. She kinda 'scolded' me for using so much English words and announced to the class that no matter what happens, do not write your hindi essay in english. Then she made a really good point. "What if the marker does not understand english?"
Anyway I realised that I must work REALLY hard for hindi. My idioms section was quite good, 9/10(the 1 mark was deducted for using 'eee' instead of 'e').

Oh yeah, almost forgot, yesterday[since its past midnight] we pond-ed Husnien!!!
We came up with a to get him to go to the WednesdayExpresso[which doesn't even sell coffee]. We used the excuse that our form teacher wanted to meet us there. Then as he was still in pe attire, we grabbed him, took off his shoes and had to carry him all the way to the pond near the canteen[same place where Shannon got pond-ed] as we didn't want to throw him in the pond near the WednesdayExpresso[The Principal's office has a large window overseeing that area]. We managed to throw him in. Kush, a boy holding Husnien's right leg, was also dragged into the pond by Hussnien. He tried to drag me in too[I was holding his left leg] but I was prepared for it.
Guess we got the guy who taught us our colleges' tradition of pond-ing birthdays rela good this time.
He was telling us that he'll pond everyone and no one would be able to pond him on his birthday.

Miss.Mok (my GP teacher) was mocking us on Friday. And on the same day, when going to class, I was listening to mocking bird. LOL!

Well Hindi mock paper couldn't had been worse.

Yesterday I went to the temple.
After a long, long time.
They had changed the tables from the wooden ones to the new metal ones.
Roshan, Rohit, Ashnee, Guddu, Priyanka and Mano were there, just to name a few.
Had loads if fun.
Mano was on a roll cracking jokes.
And I met this guy called Ram who just couldn't stop laughing at our jokes.

Today was the Hindi test. I totally flunked it lio....

Came back home and slept all the way till 6. Had some weird dream.

Its so super cold today la! Was raining almost the whole time? After school it was raining so heavily that Roshan, Rohit, Wagish and I took a bus from outside school to Serangoon Interchange instead of getting the usual bus, 80, from the other road. On the way back, Rohit reminded us that it was our last time going to that place for hindi exams.

Rohit and Roshan got off at the Serangoon mrt station to get the trian while Wagish and I went to get the bus....We took it and at Kovan station who boards the bus ? Roshan! Talk about coincidence.

Look forward to watching Star Wars: Clone Wars with Kumaran during the holidays!!!

Today is Krishjamnastri (wrong spelling I think). Well its a hindi(since tamils don't celebrate it) festival. I would be going temple in a short while. Had an early dinner since I would be there till quite late. Mano would be there. Woot.

There are showing a song from the hindi movie, Om Shnti Om, on Vasantram Central now. The movie was great.

I am extremely NOT prepared for it.
I went Hindi school last Saturday and I didn't have a clue what was going on.

I couldn't get to watch the Korea V.S. Taiwan Taekwando match. I heard it was really good, and both were almost equal in all aspects. Korea won after a student death match.

Well yesterday was Raksha Bandhan.
Its a north Indian festival where the girls tie their brothers rakhi (a decorated string) for money. Nah, just kidding. Its to strengthen the brother - sister bonding. And the brother promises that he would protect his sister.
I went to hindi school first. Then I went home. My cousins came over as well, to tie my bro and me Rakhi.

Wow yesterday I woke up with a bad flu. Seriously bad. It should be put in jail.

I went to school, physics practical was quite fun, we made a resonance kit. After physics I ate my breakfast and I was feeling really blue. Like you know that feeling you have when you have a really really bad flu? Yeah that one. Slap yourself from me, if you can't remember that feeling.

So I took an early leave right after that and went home. Reached home at 12, slept for two hours, then went to the doctor, where I spent another 2 hours. Reached home and slept again. The woke up, had dinner and the slept again. Throughout the night. I guess it was just the medicine.

Today i was all fine. School was rather boring, being Wednesday. Did my physics worksheet and went to the gym during my break. Oh yah, I passed my first maths test for the year. With a C, but ya I passed.

Just came back from jogging, going to go shower, have my dinner then organize my history file. That would take a while.

I certainly had a fun time today:)

Mano, my best fren of 11 years, came to my house from his school (TP). He was lucky, just in time to witness the discovery of the bottom of my study table after two days of tidying up.

After that my younger brother, Mano and I met up with Asha and went to watch a hindi movie, 'Singh Is King'. Kiran (another fren of ours) was suppose to come as well but she couldn't make it on time. We were late for the show, we wanted to catch the 3pm show but had to settle for the 4.45pm show instead. Later we found out that a few of our other frens were watchig the 3pm show (namely Guddu, Manisha, Arti and their other frens).

The movie was hilarious. To make it even better, not only was it was staring my favourite actor and actress, but it was my favourite genre was well, comedy!
4 stars out of 5 for the movie!

Man, I was hoping to post that before midnight but my internet had some problems so I had to restart my computer:(
Well never mind.

Htet Mon: Sorry, we were the pre-parade segment and I guess they left us out. We were disappointed too, we have never seen ourselfs perform.

Yesterday was a really fun day. I was feeling rather sad in the morning as it was going to be the last day we were cheerleading together. Really really sad. I get quite sad over such stuff like last somethings.

However as the time to perform drew closer I became more and more excited. I was bursting with excitement as I ran on to the platform. The entire thing went great for me except that Chandini(my flyer) almost couldn't get up. She jumped too early, I hadn't went down fully yet, therefor he almost couldn't put her second leg around my shoulder. I was thinking We can't screw up now. We are not going to screw up now. Not today. Then I jumped up a little an we were all set.

After the performance we took loads and loads of pictures. Would upload them as soon as I get them.

Performing for the NDP, even thought it was only the pre-parade segment, was really fun and was a worthwhile experience. Every moment of it, all the training and waiting around, was fun and sure taught us values team work and also raised our self confidence. None of us regretted joining the cheerleading. Once again, a very, very happy birthday Singapore:D

Today I woke up late. Seriously late. 1pm. I don't know why, I did sleep late, at 4am, but waking up at 1pm means I got 9 hours of sleep. I guess its because only my younger brother was at home and he didn't wake me up. Plus the curtains were drawn by my parents before they went out so the sunlight didn't wake me up either. I had went to bed without the curtains drawn.

My little brother is going to the swimming pool with his friend now. I would be going to the gym later with Ashnee.

Okay, we got a consolation prize for our website design. That means we were either 4th or 5th. We were really happy to get the prize. All our hard work paid off after all. Beating 10 to 9 other schools. I'm glad we did not give up, which each of us wanted to do so at one point or another. Hope we can guide the next year's batch into getting a better prize. Ofcoz can't discuss the details here in case it gets stolen by some specif other school ahem ahem. Lol jk.

The swimming pool and gym at Seng Kang has been opened but I have not found the time to go there yet. Hopefully tomorrow I would be able to go. I'll be having the final preview show later on. So far so good, just hope that I don't mess up on the actuall day.

Oh yah, Rashma's Rangooli was quite good, especially the part she did, the chinese mask. I didn't take any pictures to put up though.

SUPER MAJOR SPOILERS FOR HEROES 3.01

The episode picks up at the end of the abbreviated Season Two, with the attempt on Nathan Petrelli’s life. Nathan flat-lines on the operating table — but then he comes back to life, pale as a Casper and twice as grateful.

Then we learn that it was Nathan’s brother Peter - from the future - who came back in time to kill Nathan, to prevent him from revealing to the world the existence of super-powered people. Matt figures it out, and gets banished to the desert for his troubles.

Hiro is in Japan, a titan of industry running his family’s company. He tells Ando he’s bored, that after saving the world — twice — he’s a man without a quest. And right on cue, he’s delivered a dvd with a message his father recorded for him before his death.

The message? On the dvd, Hiro’s dad Kaito Nakamura (George Takei) explains that he is now the protector of a secret that, if it falls into the wrong hands, could destroy the world. It’s in his safe, and he’s instructed to NEVER open the safe.

“It’s half of a formula…It’s the light, to combat darkness,” Nakamura says in the recording.

After Hiro and Ando open the safe (and get chided for it posthumously by Hiro’s father). Season 3’s new villain, a blonde named Daphne, AKA Speedster (Brea Grant) shows up and steals the formula.

Sylar’s back! He shows up and terrorizes Claire in her home in a scene obviously written by someone with affection for the “Scream” horror franchise. Their scenes together were the highlights of the episode, simultaneously tense and funny.

“I know you’re scared Claire,” Sylar says. “I would be too if I were here with someone like me.”

Claire stabs him in the heart with a huge kitchen knife. But Sylar overpowers her and then proceeds to pull a Hannibal Lector and cut the top of her head off and then pokes around in her brain and absorbs her power.

As he walks out, Claire asks Sylar why he didn’t kill her.

“You can never die, Claire, “ he said. “I guess now, neither can I.”

Like Matt the intrepid cop, Niki Sanders gets short shrift in the episode. She shows up only briefly in a hotel room, scantily clad, with a political figure (played by Bruce Boxleitner) who’s interested in the newly-evangelical Nathan.

Nathan, you see, after his near-death experience has seen the light. “We are all connected. Save ourselves. Save the World.”

Meanwhile, Suresh makes a breakthrough. After watching Maya’s powers manifest themselves, he determines that the genetic building blocks for powers lie in the adrenal glands, and triggered by bursts of adrenaline.

He sees the opportunity to create superheroes on demand, with specific powers. Maya thinks it’s going against nature, and that he should destroy it.

But Suresh juices himself anyway, and wouldn’t you know he gave himself super-strength??

The episode had two HUGE reveals.

Hiro, curious to see what the future holds if they don’t get the formula back, jumps forward and sees himself betrayed and struck down by a suddenly super-powered Ando! We get a quick glimpse of the potential Apocalypse as well.

Then, after Angela warns Future Peter that he’s messed up the timeline with his actions, we learn that Present-Day Pete has been trapped inside the body of a prisoner in Level 5 of the company, the same place HRG is incarcerated.

Fade to black, episode ends.

Mr.Aziz, our PE teacher was informing us of the inter house Frisbee tournament coming up during PE today. That reminded me; once I wondering why Frisbees look bigger as they get closer to you, and then it hit me ~~hard~~ .

I'm having trouble setting up the wireless internet at home:( And what's worse is that instead of getting a PCI card, I got myself a PC card which is now useless to me.

Sailing members would be swimming on Wednesday. Why would I want to swim after I quit the swimming club in sec3? And my two years of membership wasn't even reflected in my SGC. I guess I would go for the track heats on Wednesday to avoid it.

Talking about SGC, I was totally disappointed with mine. Everything stated in the SGC was a duplicate of the comments on my annual report slips put together. The AdvanceElectiveModule that I attended wasn't even mentioned inside. The worse part is this: THE LAST PARAGRAPHS OF MY SGC AND KUMARAN"S SGC WERE THE SAME!!! I'm like 'What the Muthu...'

I wanted to blog about something but now I have forgotten. Nevermind.

For Computing practical we are suppose to create a computerized system to help a eatery house, Pizza House, handle its growing business.

Hoping that this was a popular question in many schools, i 'googled' (i-google) "Piazza House C++ Program". The closest hit I got was a scheme to sell pizzas (online delivery) to computing students since they can spend a week working on their programs and therefore munching on pizzas would be a good idea as they would be able to have luch and dinner without leaving their computers.
As if we don't have lives.

So anyway yester I and Ibrahim were thinking of going to PizzaHut after school because all this pizza talk was making us hungry during computing. We could go there and say "Excuse me, may I have a look at your program?" or ash Ibrahim siad;"Do you KNOW how your register actually works?"
We seriously have nothing better to do during computing.

Yesterday our GP teacher got ricky good; she said "Come on Ricky, speak louder, I'm sure you have bigger lungs than me." I amd Ibrahim were laughing our heads off.
Our teacher asked us to get back into our heads and concentrate on the lesson.

Today I managed to wake up early.

I ended up doing maths until about 7+, when Htet Mon came looking for me.

Tmr Wednesday. Chemistry test during weekly test slot. That means...FIVE HOUR BREAK!!!:D
Only 1hour40 minutes of Computing for tmr. After that cheerleading till 7.

Saturday was the first NE Show. Due to some family reasons, my flyer did not turn up. Therefore, Chandini had to fly for me. Poor thing, she still had not recovered. during the actual moment, she almost could not get up. Thank God she managed to do it. I hope she recovers fast so that we can practice to make it perfect and it would not be painful for her. Kiran was there watching the show. =.="
The Black Hawks' performance was mind blowing. After that, the other performances were rather boring in my opinion.

Tommorow I'm going to try to run 6km in less than 30minutes during Napfa remidial. Hope I can make it. I do everything except practice standing broad jump, I wonder how am I going to pass it. Its the only one I failed =.="
Going to try to make Htet Mon run 2.4km in less than 10 minutes also.

Today was the usual 4 hour break with no maths as well. The literature boys skipped literature to play soccer with us. It was really fun but tiring. Thank God Muthu and I had brought extra clothes and a towel to shower.

After school had cheer leading from 3 to 6. We finally finalized out positions, learned every move and familiarized ourselves with the stuns. Chandini has injured herself so I had to change flyer(or is it flier? not sure...) again.

Today for physics practical we were doing an experiment to find out the acceleration of a particle at any given time down a ramp. We did this by rolling a marble down a ramp and recording the time taken. Husnain dropped his marble and said "Great. Now I can say- I lost my marble- as a source of error." I said "Yeah, I'm great you have came to realize that you have lost your marbles but I don't think that would earn you any pity marks."

On Friday Jolene, Jeannette, Ibrahim, me and some others were studying physics outside the library. We were talking and Jolene said- "Feathers of the same flock together." I was like- "What crap is that, its: Birds of a feather flock together." Then Ibrahim&Jolene both go- "Of a feather? What crap is that? That's worse. Its birds of the same kind flock together." I was thinking My class is full of jokers.

What happened in today's GP class really angered me. Ming Sheng thought that there was 5 continents thus our GP teacher corrected him. Then she went on to ask us what the five Oceans were. We managed to give the names of four of the Oceans (Pacific, Indian, Artic, Atlantic) but we couldn't remember the name of the fifth ocean. Neither could our GP teacher thus she asked us to go back and find out. However, later on during the lesson I remembered the name of the fifth ocean and told our teacher that it was the Southern Ocean. She dismissed it and said the 5th Ocean is the Antarctic Ocean. I then said "Maybe Antarctic Ocean was just another name for the Southern Ocean, but I am sure its called the Southern Ocean." She then just laughed at my answer: "Then there is a Northern, Western and Eastern Ocean as well I suppose." That got me upset, cause aren't teachers suppose to be encouraging and not criticize student's answers if they are wrong, much less if they are right?

Well after doing a bit of research (just a search on Google), turns out that I was right after all.

I can't imagine a world without Google.

I updated my psp firmware yesterday to 4.01. The new firmware has a Google search feature.

Updating my GC OS right now. Should have updated it by today, cause maths lecture today went through the REFF function, which the old OS didn't support. The girl infront of me also had not updated hers and was making a note on her notes: "Update GC:D". I wonder what was she so happy about. Its finally done.

I have decided to only play DotA on fridays and saturdays. Therefore I am looking forward to friday when I can pit Rasta against Anti-Mage and vise vasa.

Just found out that A Level Hindi paper would be taken in YJC. Guess Chandini, Kushan and I would be the only three students taking it.

Going to go do my History essay on Korean war soon then prepare for physics practical tmr.

The sports complex is opening soon. Sure can;t wait for it to open. The swimming pool seems fun with about 6 to 8 slides and there is a gym too. Goodbye to Hougang, AMK and Lower Delta gyms!

NDP rehearsal was quite fun. I'm still not 100% sure of the steps, so would have to learn it from Matt. And Chandini and I would have to come together and practice the shoulder seat as wel, we are still not fast i doing it.

Hmm to day block test ended at 10.30....I'm not gonna talk about the block tests...

Mr.Ho wanted us to attend the IBM career seminar which he told us was from 2 to 4. So we decided to watch a movie first but when we got to North Point, the only movie which we could watch was Don't Mess With The Zohan, which I had already watched, thus we just ate luch and went back to school. In school we ~~played cards and~~ talked till 2pm, when we found out that IBM started at 4. Till then there were other companies to "entertain" us. So we went for the Singapore Tourism Board and SAF. That draged on till 4pm, which meant IBM would be even later. We left, after we found out IBM was here to talk about bioengineering stuff. ~~Computing Students were neglected over bio student?~~

Reached home, slept, played DotA, ate dinner, checked the stocks, read blogs and now gonna DotA again.

Oh yah, I actually wanted to blog that today I was suppose to tidy up the "pigeon hole", but when I got home it was already tidied up. Guess my Mom must have done it.

The other day I went to Sentosa. My entire family minus my dad went there, my dad joined us for the Song of the Sea. Ashnee's family minus his dad joined us halfway.

I had never known Sentosa to be so fun. We went there by cable car, then we went on the Luge&Skyride, then 4D Theater, then Underwater World, then the beach to swim, then the Dolphin Show and then finally the Song of the Sea. It was my first time for Luge&Skyride and SongOfTheSea.

We had loads of fun. The best part was of course the luge. The turns were so sharp and if you down use the brake, which of course my brother and I didn't, you may flip over. My elder brother did flip over halfway on his second round.

I can't wait to go Sentosa again. This time I shall only go on the Luge&Skyride, beach and Song of the Sea.

End of Hindi Lessons

I only have a few more hindi lessons left. I can count them off one hand. That is because I would not go this week and every Saturday after this would have NDP rehearsal up till National Day. Its both a good thing and a bad thing.

Hindi Centre Dance

We would not be performing anymore. Not only could we not get enough members(10 was required) but also Nilesh and I are very preoccupied with studies. So we decided to scrap it for this year. Maybe next year :)

Trip to Escape Theme Park

I went to Escape Theme Park last week, with Asha, Ashnee, Guddu, Manisha, Mano, Sapna, Shandhya and my 2 brothers. The trip was ultra fun, hadn't enjoyed my self that much in a long long time! Here are some pics, although they are not very clear:

Movies

At last I managed to catch a few movies. I think I choose the right ones, all of them were hilarious. 'Kung Fu Panda', 'Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay' and 'Don't Mess with the Zohan'.

Gaming

It had been so long since I played Counter Strike. I played the other day, hosted Mano and Ashnee. Death match, it was pretty dumb, with abt 12 bots. Other than that, I taught Mano DotA, so we can play together after my block tests!!! :D

Fitness

I realized my fitness level has declined greatly. I went swimming today. I did 2 laps. I was exhausted, had difficulty finishing the second laps even. Maybe it was because I went to the gym before that. My brother wants me to say he did one lap, free style. I went swimming because of him actually, had to take care of him today.
So I decided that after block tests I would start long distance running and swimming.

Other than all that, block tests are coming. I can only say that I'm prepared for History. I'll take less than a day to study for Computing so I'm not worries about it but I'm worried sick over maths and physics. I have to source for tutors for physics, maths and hindi.

Okay I was trying to upload pictures but the server is having some problems I think. I shall upload the pictures another time then:)

Today was CrossCountry.
I didn't come in top 20.
I ~~disappointed myself!!!~~ had fun!
The only bad part was when I was stupid enough to drink water while running which gave me very strong sitches in both my sides and therefor I had to walk for awhile while it substituted. Never mind, I'll train hard for next year's cross country.
But I did came in first for my class la, which also shows how "good" my class is.
But then again, with more than 40 classes, I'm positive we were not the worst class:D

Last night was totally spend doing my history essay and trying to complete my maths. I completed my history essay (which thank God I did coz the teacher personally came to collect it from me) but my maths homework still had half left coz I don't know how to do it! I slept at 4.53am. Got up at 6.03am.

Today the good chocolates were back, thus the sale of chocolates were good. Maybe I should take a picture of the stall and post it. I shall do that on Monday. After School Jolene, Muthu and I went to Yishun Polyclinic to get pills to protect ourselfs against malaria while in Cambodia. Muthu and Jolene had something on, so they left first and I was left to collect it. I still had to wait 400+ hits before my turn! I was sleeping, waking up every now and then to check if I missed my number or if it was about to be called. 50 minutes later, one of the pharmacist signals to me. She claimed that she had tried to call the three of us (my phone had not rang and none of my friends' phone had any missed calls as well). The polyclinic was out of the pills. So we could place a mass order on Tuesday, indicating on our prescriptions if we had any drug allergies and for the girls; if they were pregnant(???).

So I went to the BBQ the Cambodia CIP trip members were having. The BBQ was very fun and we got to bond with each other even more as well. We decided to learn a song on the musical instrument that all Singapore educated children were all too familiar with- the recorder!!!

Today I would have dance auditions later in the morning. Nilesh, Kumaran and me; the three man team. Hopefully we get through.

Wow today was a another busy day.

First I went to support Kumaran's magic and dance performance at McNair. He performed quite well, I'll upload pictures tmr. In fact I got inspired by his tool box to take up magic again.

Then off to the AMK library, for GPP, which turned out to be too full to even put my foot in. Obviously I'm over exaggerating but you get my point. So we went off to Bishan library, where we spent God knows how long searching for an suitable place to hold the meeting. The library staff were irritating!!! Their views were divided on where we could seat and where not.

Finally I went off to meet Mr.N who was late and then forced me to stay and play soccer for awhile.

Yeah so I just came back home, sorted out my stuff that I need for tmr, showered, had dinner and started on my physics assignment that was due on friday.

Yesterday Mr.M, Mr.N and I went to watch 'The Forbidden Kingdom'. It happened to be Mr.N's 17th birthday as well so Mr.N; Happy Birthday once again. Back to 'The Forbidden Kingdom'. The action scenes were very...hmm lets just say they were so-so. And the movie was hilarious over all, although it could have made done with better script writers. Some of the lines used in the movie left me think 'So?' or 'And how does that relate again?'...However the fighting scene between Jackie Chan and Jet Li ROCKED!!! And the part I liked best was when stuck in a dessert and dying of thirst, Jackie Chan attempted to make it rain and when he thought he had succeeded and was happily bathing in the shower of liquid, they showed Jet Li standing on a rock and urinating on him.

Going back to my physics assignment. Will have to work on GPP after that then neaten up my Physics file then SLEEP.
